Featherweights
Here are all of the featherweights that we have built click on their name for more information about that robot.
Our first proper featherweight- a 4 wheel drive high powered pusher and has so far proved indestructable taking damage from two of the most feared spinners and even being run over by a house robot without even stopping.
Our first featherweight with an active weapon. Shockwave is one of the most effective LP featherweight flippers around at the moment. It can even lift a 50kg washing machine!!
Our recently rebuilt full pressure flipper which since its rebuild has been on top form winning 4 events in 2008 including the winter tour. Our most successful featherweight at the moment.
Built for a school project, Tidal Wave 2 is a new flipper robot which which had potential but did not have enough power in the drive and flipper. Most of the pneumatic system is going to be recycled into Tidal Wave 3!
A 4 wheel drive robot that we bought in 2007, after having limited success we sold it to the Tiny Toon Team.
